The Business Continuity Institute is organizing its next global conference in London in November. Like every year, the event will gather over 400 participants in 2 days for more than 30 hours of high-quality content in the field of business continuity and organizational resilience.
PANTA RAY strongly believes in this opportunity for professionals to network, debate, learn and together innovate and improve the resilience disciplines.
For such an event and for the BCI as a global professional body, it is fundamental to attract more young participants in order to collect and value their ideas and viewpoints. Hence, PANTA RAY decided to offer a full conference pass to one deserving student who is passionate about these topics.
“Within the BCI Risk & Governance Committee meetings, I often raise the issue of the need for the Institute to encourage students in choosing the continuity and resilience field as a valid professional option. The Business Continuity Institute already provides students with some dedicated facilitations. However, I believe additional efforts by the senior members of the Institute are needed. We must give value to the presence of young people in these conferences.” says Alberto Mattia, Chief Executive Officer of PANTA RAY and Member of the BCI Risk & Governance Committee. “Not just to offer them mentorship opportunities, but also and most importantly to attract and invest in new ideas and approaches to the discipline. For this reason, we as members need to facilitate the access of young people to the BCI community and events.”
