Celebrating the best and brightest in the business continuity and resilience industry, the Business Continuity Institute presented its annual European Awards in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Caversham, UK – 12th May 2017: Gianna Detoni FBCI, President and Founder of Panta Ray in Milan, and leading figure in the business continuity and resilience industry in Italy, was acknowledged as the Continuity and Resilience Industry Personality of the Year at the Business Continuity Institute’s European Awards held last night at a ceremony in Edinburgh, Scotland.
The European Awards are one of seven regional awards hosted by the BCI each year, which culminate in the annual Global Awards held in November during the Institute’s annual conference in London, England. They are designed to recognise the individuals and organizations who have excelled in the field of business continuity and resilience throughout the year.
Becoming Industry Personality of the Year continues what has been a successful year for Gianna having been made a Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute just last month. FBCI is the highest attainable grade within the Institute’s membership and is held by approximately only 125 professionals worldwide, demonstrating what a significant achievement it is.
