Milan, Nov. 29 – Yesterday in Principe di Savoia we had the fourth BCI Italy annual conference. The growth trend of the BCI Italy Forum events and community continues: yesterday there were over 180 continuity and resilience professionals, taking part in very interesting debates on the topics strictly related to the theme. There were presentations and discussions on traveling risks, health&safety, cyber security, physical security, crisis management, crisis communications, GDPR, supply chain resilience and much more.
Furthermore, Alberto Mattia, CEO of PANTA RAY, gave a speech on spreading the culture of resilience in Italy; if we want the disciplines of resilience to conquer more and more space in organizations, continuity professionals need to communicate to their colleagues why resilience is important and why it has to be part of the strategic choices of the organizations. You can download the presentation at the link below*.
Obviously, the stage of the BCI Italy Conference saw an introductory speech by Gianna Detoni, in her role as BCI Italy Forum Leader and Industry Personality, who officially opened the conference and took part, together with Alberto Mattia, in the last round table, involving all the Forum Board members to discuss the future of continuity in Italy.
We thank all the participants, who stopped to visit us at our stand, the speakers and the organizers from BCI. Next appointment is the BCI Italy Forum meeting on January 25th.
*In the following days, the Business Continuity Institute will share all the presentations seen during the event.
